  • Maple smoked mixed nuts

    Going with Hoser's recipe but added/changed a few things.

    1 stick butter
    TBS worsy sauce
    TBS dry mustard
    TBS siracha
    TBS granulated garlic
    TBS MHGP
    TBS Tatonka Dust
    TSP CBP
    TSP Sea Salt
    2.5 Mixed Nuts
    Smoke low heat in MES, 3 hours.
    Let cool.

    Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
    My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

      Thanks John, love the flavor of the spices and smoke on the different nuts. If you haven't tried this you're missing out.

        I have been thinking about smoking like this for a snack, Looks amazing. I think I need to try this. did you toast them before smoke?

            These were not raw nuts, just melted down the butter and added the rest of the ingredients. Add the nuts and stir till coated, and into the smoker.

              I usually smoke raw nuts but I think I see a can of mixed nuts in my shopping cart today...
              One question...Just how much is 2.5 mixed nuts....
