  • Multiple cooks over the Memorial Day weekend

    1. 6 slabs of St Louis cut ribs up top, beans below on the WSM, and turnip greens in the DO on the Kettle

    2. A small money muscle pork roast cut from a butt (the rest is for Hill Country Style Sausage)

...while I brew 5 gallons of Brown Ale (while drinking a German Alt)

    3. Smoked a couple Salmon filets and glazed with Bourbon Mustard Glaze

And the best part of the weekend was what the FEDEX guy brought me. I sent an Airman in Korea a grill grate and a few goodies for a hail and farewell they were having. He sent me a flag flown in an A-10 over the DMZ in Korea along with a coin and certificate. It made my Memorial Day weekend. It will be framed and hung in a place of honor.
