Finally!!! sorry no pics but it f-ing did happen

  • Finally!!! sorry no pics but it f-ing did happen

    Competed in the Howells ne backyard comp! They had ribs and mystery meat and appetizer. Chicken finished 14 out of 32 that was one mystery meat. The other was spam. What do you do with spam. I just dusted with tatonka dust. Finished second. Ribs I finished 3 with guys belonging to a professional association. God dam I'm tickled pink. App I don't know how I finished that was peoples choice. Sorry no pics yet.

    Kinda sux they pull a "mystery meat" with chic. No chance to brine... still nice finish for a greenhorn

      No I got it brined with yours but I really was counting counting on pork tenderloin. I gave the team next to me pointers and they ended wiining it. Just a wee bit drunk too.

                  I brined at 5 hours, I was at a loss though chicken is not my thing. Brined then sauced. But who the hell would know that tatonka dust and spam would work so well together!!
