    "Omaha, Nebraska - Quality Meats, Inc., an Omaha, Nebraska, establishment, is recalling approximately 44,372 pounds of frozen pork belly product because they were not presented at the border for USDA-FSIS Import Inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today."

    I can't help but wonder why we need to import pork bellies from Ireland or anywhere else. I meat that has a born, raised, and harvested in the USA label or nothing.

      Possibly due to the sickness that decimated piglets. So we are importing bellies. Bacon has really become a fav in USA, bacon martini anyone?
