Girlfriend, sitting around bonfire in back yard. Next day no phone and raining as hell. Two days later after the rain stopped we found the phone in a mud puddle. Five days in white rice and all was good.

There is really no substance that can dehydrate water from inside a phone.

This method may work:

If you remember in general physics, water "boils" at room temperature under vacuum.

Put the phone inside a good container and draw a high vacuum. All the water will "boil" away in a few minutes.
