I'm thinking I'm gonna reheat some brisket for nachos. Around 2:30 central time I'm gonna park my fat ass in the lazy boy and watch the Husker's with some nachos and beer. Sunday, nothing, my hometown has a labor day celebration. Going to do some trapshooting and watch the parade. Monday I'm hoping to go to the horse races, last time of year. This all contingent of if the wife goes into labor or not. Hopefully she keeps her legs tight till Monday night.

I still have a ton of chili verde to eat, but I will grill some coho fillets, and maybe some CSR's.

Got family and friends coming over on Sunday . . . should be 18 to 20 counting us. Thinking two racks of St. Louis ribs and 2 or 3 tri tips.

Will have both of the UDSs going plus the SnP as a warmer.

            Should be fun.

No disrespect to you or your wife, but isn't that how she got pregnant in the first place? Let me be the first to say congrats on the baby. Mine drive me bat shit crazy sometimes but I love them.

Back to food, I'm doing a standard pork shoulder. nothing fancy except my version of Bone Sucking sauce. might even try a little Carolina this time, who knows...

Heading oot next weekend to get together with a bunch of friends for our annual Disc Golf Tournament & camping trip - been doing it 20+ years now. Last year some of the guys buried & roasted a pig for a Luau... http://www.smoked-meat.com/forum/sho...133#post525133

Anyway, I haven't decided yet what to cook up for the trip. I was thinkin' either a big ol' batch of chili or yank a pork bhut oot of the fridgedeezer for some pulled pork action.
Either way, it'll taste good by the campfire.
                    .

Not to mention the occasional campfire

Got a beef eye round roast that will take a bath in the SV, then off to the Vortex for the finale. Also have 2 briskies, which last week, I hit with SnP and a heavy dose of the MH beef rub, then vac sealed and into the freezer for this weekend. Also might do some ribs and chiggin on Monday...

                      Drinks well with others
