  • "Dressing" a salad

This kinda came to me tonight, not sure from where (TV, S-M, videos, etc.) I dunno, and am not claiming it by any means, butt have never done this myself. Typically, grab a salad dressing from the fridge, or use whatever dressing came with the bag salad and use it.

Tonight though, none of the 5-6 salad dressings in the fridge sounded good, so thought I would experiment. Took a patt of butter, cooked down some diced Red Onions, threw in some Jalapeño jelly, Worshy, EVOO and ACv! Then added some chopped Almonds and Mushrooms, Kosher and CBP and cooked it down a bit and let it cool to room temp.

Mixed it into a bowl with organic Spring mix greens with Cashews and grated Parmesan. Damn, was so good! I could see Golden raisins or dried Cranberries being great also.

What else can I do with this, add to this?

      Thinly sliced tri-tip.

Consider soy sauce instead of salt. Maybe just a touch of cream at the end. And one of Richtee's coddled eggs.

      Looks tasty from here
