  • Leg day

Today a co-worker was talking about making some wings the other night in his oven, and it sounded like a great idea other then I needed to make a few changes to his cook. So tonight on my way home stop buy the store and got 3 packages of legs. To me legs are way better rating than wings. So first I dry rubbed them with my own chix-mix

At the store I also grab some ears of corn, it sounded so good. So on the old copper top kettle everything goes.

Of course the kettle is set up with the vortex, narrow side up. I will be using 3 different sauces on these legs.

While everything get cook, time to smoke and sauce myself up also

Very nice...I prefer wings 'steada legs but that's no big thing...

I like the way you treat the cook

With the Vortex I like a lot of on the fire side for the fat part of the legs. Kinda a 45 degree angle. Love the fresh corn, perfect on the grill.

Nice cook, cgrilled chicken legs and fresh corn on the grill MMMM!

Ask me hot to peel the corn and have not stoopid threads stuck on the corn. So easy.

So here are the final results. I had to yell at the wife and renter to stop eating before I could get pics.

        3 happy people

Did you remove the silk before cooking ?

Now for your next drumstick cook, have a go at this :-)
