  • Steak Noodles & Shrooms

I was looking in the freezer and found 1 lonely strip steak. So, I felt obligated to cook it for dinner.

    Strip steak and sliced shrooms

I chopped up the bigger shroom slices, then sauteed them in butter, Riesling wine, Worcestershire sauce, & a few other spices and goodies. I cooked it down then added 4 frozen cubes of Au Jus and made it into a thickened gravy.

Keg heating up using RO lump and pecan

    Steak going into the Keg

    Almost done

    Resting

While the steak was resting, I cooked up some egg noodles & made some creamy horseradish sauce, then sliced the steak into thin strips

Steak slices served over noodles w/mushroom sauce and drizzled with horseradish sauce

A little better look just before I devoured it

    Thanks for lookin'
    Jim
