      it don't matter......i'd put the one that would render the most fat on top........damn, porky beef or beefy pork......now ya got me thinkin'........and dat ain't no good!

        I would go with the pork on top... Just my personal taste.

            Either or... don't think it much matters.

            Plus, to mix it up, you could switch shelves part way thru the cook. Just a thought...

                As long as there's no poultry, fish, or seafood involved, I don't see where it would matter which is on the top. It comes down to personal preference on your part whether you put the pork or the beef on the top.

                  I agree with Jim---Doesn't really matter, since they're both going to the 200° neighborhood.

                  However since I prefer Beef flavor over Pork, I would personally go with Beef above Pork.
