    Whoa I been offa work all week...Been cookin up a buncha stuff...

    For the weekend I'm thinking basic...
    Maybe Vortex wings...
    Maybe some backribs...
    Time will tell....

    Started me night off (after a beer was cracked) by baking Spring Rolls for me kid. Wife gone shopping .... My dinner was BBQ stix, cheese, pickles (both sweet and dill ) and Wheat Thins

    Tomorrow, I'm thinking Salmon on the Weber. Supposed to be nice and mid/upper 70's. Perfect for yard work, and afternoon beers while cooking

      Really simple.. hit the crib in about 30 minutes and bounce out and on the road by 5:30 - 6AM.. Drive 2.5 hours to pick up two AC units and back to Dallas.. Sooo 6 -7 hours on the road.. Fun Times..

        Tear down of sea wall... get 2 ton stone delivered... hope they can hull down to Lake shore... otherwise we have to carry it... nice big fat ribeyes I found tucked away will replenish our bodies.. sunday..I am not sure...

          Hmm . . . I should cook something . . . maybe some chicken leq quarters on the drum. Maybe some ribs.

          Did not plan ahead at all so maybe a trip to Safeway in the morning will help me decide.

            Friday was poke chops on the Weber-V combo. Today is The Country Store gg, Sunday, gotta make some pulled chicken for a customer. Sunday afternoon, the whole gang is heading oot to dinner.

              watched the third aussie versus england rugby test.
              Helluva game lead changed 10 times !
              England eventually won 44-40.
              Won all three down under test matches - first time ever !
              Watching the aussie captain have to choke out the words: 'england played well' was a real kodak moment

              Good start to the day.

              Dinner: currently thinking a melange of sausages with broccoli in cheese sauce and maybe some fried potatos. And maybe a salt and pepper squid starter.

              Was originally only going to cook bratwursts, but then remembered I also had some hotdogs leftover from guide dog day, and some caramelised onion sausages and some bacon bangers. So figured might as well cook some of each
              Dunno if I'll bbq or fry. Weather currently as changeable as the lead in the rugby match. it's either raining or sunny - have to wait and see what it's like this evening :-)

                  Yesterday was fish tacos. Today I have a big packer that has been smoking since dawn. Might just take the beast to 200 this time and chop it up for sandwiches. Time will tell.

                    Finally have a day or two break.

                    Doing Pastrami (brisket flat) and a Butt tomorrow.

                    Strangely enough, hard to find butts out here now from the Kroger stores. I have no idea what's up nor does the butcher. Had to go to Safeway......

                    P.S. Gonna try something.....did add other stuff but it tasted good. Kids asked for some hot butt, I mean a butt with some zing, I mean, some smokin butt so we agreed to the latter. Looking forward to tomorrow night to see how it goes

                      nothing...been a lazee as$ all day...the broke airplanes will be aight till monday...fixin to go get some raw oysters!

                            I just finished a rather hellacious week installing safes in pawn shops in El Salvador. Taking the next 2 days to reflect on life at a resort on the beach before heading home.
