Great idea, for you!
I tried regular fire brick and they blocked too much heat. Might have to give this one a try.

Not fire brick but they do see a fair amount of fire...They stay on the cart next to my grill and get called into action from time to time...
Pan is a 12" Lodge that usually fries chicken and stuff like that...
Since I don't have a pizza stone this seemed like a plan that would work...Craig
