  • Wood Grilled Tilapia

Made this for dinner the other night, turned out real nice. Grilled over a fire of cherry wood. Seasoned with season salt and old bay. Topped with fresh salsa and a side of rice.

yep just made a "camp fire" with some cherry wood from the yard, and then burnt the wood down to get some hot coals and direct cook, about 3 minutes per side. easy enough..

I reckon I'll just have to use Mulberry wood since I have more of that than cherry

That is just a great looking dinner Brian. And cooked outside which is all that matters to me.

            for sure.

It is not bad, not my favorite but still good. Local store had it on sale for 1.99 a pound..66% off for a week... I got around 15 pounds... kids like it. real mild flavor. Im sure it was farm raised...

Nice work on an easy fish. I would prefer something meatier but that would require me to actually go fishing. Go figure....
