That's it for me too, Craig. Fish tacos are a contrast of textures...the warm flaky fish and we typically use a spicy slaw so it provides a cool crunch. I love 'em.

I've only been eating fish tacos for about 8 years...I was travelling and in San Diego at the time. Mrs. Engineer loves to plan my schedule (travelling or not ), and she sent me to South Beach Bar and Grill, home of "The World's Best Fish Taco". Since I had never had one, I ordered a platter of them in different variations...WOW! I can't even describe how good they were. I duplicated them and of course added my touch...it's a regular dinner item at Casa De Engineer.

Thanks for the link to the past Dana...I love that...
My first attempt was a simple one...Lena decided no cheese and I agreed...
The pico was loaded with red onion and Serrano peppers...Packed plenty of punch And under the fish was a bed of shredded lettuce...The grilled limes topped it off and damn it was good...
                Gotta try this again...

Hey Craiger! What type of fish did you use? Just curious

Have made this sauce a couple times and liked it, although not a RR fan
