Soooo many to chose from, but for me, it was the Eagles.
Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

Yeah, I'm an Eagles fan also, butt it's hard to pick a number one from all the great bands. The Allman Brothers kicked some serious ass, as well as Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steely Dan, the list goes on...

All good HH but I'm like the "Dude" (The Big Lebowski ) on the Eagles. I'm a big Beatles and Stones fan and really like and have tremendous respect for Tom Petty. He takes no sh*t from the record industry

tis hard to pick just one best band - much much easuier to pick what you consider to be the worst.
For me it's Led Zeppelin. I don't know what it is about their stuff, but to me it's just 'off' on a soul deep level.

Don't mind some of robert plant's solo stuff. But just about anything lz puts my teeth on edge and leaves a nasty taste on my soul.

Mind you heard some of jimi hendrix's stuff recently that wasn't released as a single.
                Christ it was awful !
I mean really really bloody awful

But it's one of those recurring questions that encourages discussion from time to time.

It would be a good topic to discuss at the first national get together of Smoked Meat at or near the geographical center of the continental US -- Lebanon, Kansas.

                  So . . . who's place is closer . . . BBQ Engineer's or Smoke Freak's?

greatest band ever....Might be Grateful Dead but I can't seem to remember why; but I did come home with some cool t-shirts and a girlfriend. Although she was super beautiful, she wouldn't eat meat; I knew soon enough it wouldn't last. Drove her to a bus stop then went to the market and bought ribeyes and beer.
