  • Drying fish idea ..

    Hay good people I am thinking of drying some fish but I don't have a lot of space I would like to build a drying rack and I am looking for some ideas.....please help. Thanks

    Don't have much experience with drying fish. From what I've read salt is most important, it pulls the moisture out of the flesh. Be nice to have some sugar and dill or basil - something aromatic too. Also in light smoke to keep the flies off, otherwise they will lay eggs on the fish, not good!
    I haven't tried it, just what I've read. Don't need to here as fresh fish is available year round. Good luck with it!
