Any of you folks familiar with this: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/sto...tegoryId=13426

Looks like it fits the 18.5" kettles...

    Drinks well with others

Wife and I have something similar that we haven't used yet. It is both griddle and grate, best of both worlds! Had it custom made to fit a 22.5" Weber kettle with a Vortex. Were thinking smash burgers, hash browns, pancakes, eggs... the possibilities are endless!

That looks interesting. Lots of cooking possibilities with that. Bet you could set it on a reg wire grate on a 22.5" kettle too.
I'm surprised it doesn't cost more.

      I'd say go for it.

The grate was made by Keith Wineinger of The Burn Shop in Wichita Falls, Texas, his number is 940-631-6117. If your on Facebook here is his business page - www.facebook.com/theburnshopwf

He has made another for us also, he does grate work! I believe each grate was $70 which included shipping. Best asking Keith, my memory is not what it use to be...

For 20 bucks Phil, I'm thinking it's worth it. Looks like fun if nothing else. Let us know, OK?

The 20 buck thing was appealing...But i got to wonder about the quality at that price...I didn't think BB&B had anything for 20 bucks

It does sound a bit good to be true, and I don't have an 18th kettle either. Why am I even posting in this thread?

Yeah, I'm a bit skeptical as to the quality, plus I don't use the 18" much anymore. Sure, I could set it on a 22" grate... thought aboot that. I dunno...

Might be worth a try for 20 bucks, but then I saw Marty's and I'm rethinking it.
