  • Stok SIS9000 replacement

Well the StoK replacement grate was delivered yesterday and it fits perfectly on the Jumbo Joe. So my question is this, is there any special seasoning rituals required to get the best out my new grate?

Rub it with oil...Heat it with medium heat...Oil it again...And again...Till the coals cool off...

After each cook, while the grill is still warm/hot, brush em clean and oil em again...I love my CI grates...

I believe the come pre-seasoned, but it will not hurt to season more!
I'm pretty sure my Stok grate was pre-seasoned. It should say on the box.

I just looked, the Stok grate is porcelain coated. I would wash it and go with it. not gonna hurt to put some oil on it!
