  • How to cook Turkey Tenderloins ??

Was looking through the freezer to find something to cook tomorrow. I found these -

The label says turkey breast tenderloins, i'd never heard of them but they look good.
My question is how should i cook them. They are only 1.5 lb each so i'm leaning towards grilling - sear a little then move them off the heat and indirect to finish.

Had thought about using the cgsp but don't want to dry them out.

I'm not going to apply any smoke, i've done that before with a ready flavored cut of meat and it just didn't taste right.

So i figured i'd ask the opinions of the fine people here !!

        you be fine.

tho a turkey tenderloin is a misnomer. no such thing THAT big anyway. I thought the tenderloin of a bird was the so call Oysters in the back of the bird.

let us not cry because we lost someone, but let us smile because we enjoyed their company for what time was allowed us!

I was a little surprised/confused with the name too. Kinda intrigued to get them out of the pack to see if it is a breast that's been flattened and rolled.

No matter what they are. they will be grilled!!

Yep they do look a lot like the pre-marinated pork loins. And here's the pics for ya.

Got the packages open and found out each one had what looked to me like two rukey breasts !!!

              One side seared -

Seared and moved off the heat -

Meat was sliced so everyone could try the different flavors. It all stayed very juicy, i got these cooked a little ahead of time so wrapped them in foil to keep warm. Poured the juices from the foil back over the meat.

Plated meal - first Iowa corn this year, some ot the wife's homemade fresh salsa, plus not seen in the pic was some italian bread.

Sorry bout different sized pics, first two were loadeddirect to PB from my phone, the last two were taken from my camera an resized before posting.

Either way it was a darn good dinner. My personal fav wasthe teriyaki-ginger.

And don't give up on the gas grill, it's got it's time and place, , ,mostly when I don't have the time for anything else.
I do love gas grilled ribeyes. Hot and fast.
