I had some leftover spare ribs and rib tips from that Berkshire pork I did last weekend. Decided a mid-week meal of fried rice would be a great use of this product.
Cooked on the stovetop in the wok.
- 1 onion diced
- 1 green pepper diced
- 2 stalks celery diced
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- about 2 cups chopped pork
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp veg oil
- 3 eggs scrambled
- 1 bunch green onion diced
- 2 cups day old cold rice
Heated the oil, and then added all the veggies, reserving about a 1/2 cup of he green onions. After a couple minutes I added the pork, and then the rice. Sauteed, and then added the wet ingredients(soy sauce, hoisin, fish sauce. Crisped it up and added the green onions and egg. Served. Really nice when topped with a little Shark sriracha
