  • Great Easy Brisket Appetizer

May have some pics on my phone, will check later..... This was a Gigantic hit, especially with the women....the last Brisket I smoked, I cut into 1/4" slices and vacuum packed and froze in a couple packs that were probably a little less than 2#.... Thawed one out, cut into 1" square, sauced them up good and put in 250* smoker for a little over an hour with a stick of Olive.... Brought to the party warm and had toothpicks alongside... Basically warmed up Brisket chunks with SBR's.... But man, it was gone quick.... This is a "Chick Magnet" appetizer if their is one!

Nice. Most folks would call them burnt ends.

Yeah..... I know..... but they aint burnt...... I have done them several times, with the first couple times not so good.... BURNT is not what I was shooting for, or wanted.... I have dried them out a few times & they sucked... No more of that for me..... Just wanted to heat them up a bit with some bbq sauce & some smoke..... They are perhaps my favorite bbq/smoke treat..... I admit, I have turned them into coal/jerky before a few times & they were NOT GOOD (bbq'd coal/jerky?).....but keep an eye on them & watch them & pull them when tender & they should be a ~Jolly Rancher~ flavor.... Bring them to a party & do this on a grill also... ....

Looks great, Scott! I would chow down on those at a party. I bet the ladies liked them better because they were small portions and they didn't think they were eating as much.
