So I decided on pulled pork kind of Hawaiian style and Huli Huli chicken and Dutch's wicked baked beans. Two shoulders, well one boneless and one bone in butt. 30 pounds of boneless skinless thighs and the beans. Took Thursday and Friday off to do all the smoking of shoulders and then Saturday the beans and chicken. Loved the Huli Huli chicken, great flavor. My kitchen is sticky!! Shoulders were on the Weber inverted vortex, Kingsford Pro, which I actually wasn't really happy with, like the kingsford long burning better. So here are the pics. Weber was a gem to do both slow and low and quick and fast! Love it!
Very happy with the turn out, loved the beans. A lot of work though. And a lot of money. Funny note, the shoulder had a much better smoke ring than the butt. The should had the best smoke ring I ever had. Everybody loved it all!
