  • Low and slow back ribs on the Weber

The setup is lump snake, about ten lit coals, and olive wood...
I put the lit coals in the middle of the snake and let it spread both ways...
During the cook I add more lump and wood as needed...
Not a set it and forget it method

Ribs were rubbed with JAB and MHGP rub...

    Settled in right nice...
I think I need to clean my grill

About 4 hours I think... Taking my time...

And a thin coating of sauce near the end...

Ribs in the house and rolls on the grill to warm...
    Oven is still dead

And plated with the beans that Lena was cooking in the house

While not the best ribs I ever cooked they didn't suck to much...And I enjoyed every minute of my long day on the patio...

    Wish y'all coulda been there

Not surprised that the plated pic kicked butt. It always does.

Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

                  Looks excellent, Craig.

I'm guessing you're not missing the oven too much.
