  • Smoked meat loaf

Placed an order with CrowdCow for some steaks and got some ground beef as part of the deal. Turned 2 pounds into meatloaf last night and smoked tonight in the MES40. Used Cherry and Pecan pellets. Started around 225 and bumped it up a few times. Hit 165 right at the 3.5 hour mark.
One of my best meatloafs to date. Trying to be good and semi stick to a diet but I'm about to have seconds

Yep, I could handle one of those easily.
Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

Once ya had a rotisserie meatloaf...Well that changes everything...

Meat loaf was ruined for me as a kid. My dear Mother always packed too much onion in it for my taste (Pretty much any onion is too much onion. At least it was that way as a kid).

I do believe I could choke down some of that though... Lookin' good, S&P...

Not to mention the occasional campfire

No onion in this mix. I am using my mom's recipe which calls for 1tbls/pound of onion browned in butter.
If I had had an onion in the kitchen, I might have used it if the desire to chop and brown was there. Usually one of those is missing lol
