  • Rainy Day Sourdough Bread

Well, I haven't posted anything for a long while. Decided today was the day to make some bread. As usual, this is started the night before making the bread. Two loaves of cinnamon raisin and two of regular.

Closer shot of the cinnamon raisin.

Thanks for checking out my bread.

Thanks for the points guys! For those wanting to make their own bread, I would start with a basic white loaf until you're comfortable working the dough. From there, it's really not all that difficult.

                  Keith...It is that difficult
Seriously with my arthritis, kneading bread is impossible...
Maybe with one of them new fan-geld bread machines or something...

Thaks Phil, Brian and Pete! Craig, I also have arthritis and along with
COPD there's not a lot left that I can do. I have an old stand mixer with dough hooks so there's very little kneading by hand. Not looking forward to the day when I have to quit althgether.

I know what you mean Mike. Sometimes I go for a couple of months without using my starter. Then I get the bug and use it a couple time a week.
