I new I smelt asphalt...

The state of Michigan takes asphalt cores each layer we lay down, to check thickness and density (compaction). Some days they'll drill 5 to 10 or more holes in the fresh asphalt a day to make sure they're gettting what they are paying for, if not we the company gets a penalty in pay. Yes the holes get filled up with asphalt.sigpic
