  • 1st Brisket today

I think I did good, I had a mouthgasm from it. Took about 11 hours and then tortured myself for a hour and a half while it rested, why does it need to rest I did all the work. Salt pepper and garlid and sprayed it with beef broth every 45 minutes. Cooked on Lumberjack oak pecan pellets. Cooked fat side down. Damn I'm awesome.

Excellent job for a first brisket.

I didn't have the balls to post my first one.

Yep first one. I really have not had a bad experience on the Traeger other than the fire while doing chickens and the issues with it going over or under temp and having to fight it. I do need to learn how to cut the point of the brisket better though as I made a couple mistakes there.
