  • Carnival Style Corndog Fattie

I did these one time and I have never posted them here. Craig's post about corndogs had me drooling and I hope Lena will share her batter recipe. These were great, but the batter wasn't quite right...a tweak to that and these are a super hit!

made a fattie by rolling out some sausage in a baggie. I added a hot dog and rolled up up one revolution around the hot dog.

Put a stick in its butt and into the smoker. I made a couple with just rolled up sausage too.

After they were smoked, I dipped them in a cornbread batter and fried them.

    Carnival Sausage fattie.

    Corndog Fattie!

    With Yellow Mustard!

I LOVE a good corndog. Hmmm ... corn “dog” contest... don’t need to be a hot dog I’m assuming ...HMM...

                          That’s a great idea Dana!

we like to smoke up some ABTs and then deep fry them. Maybe I'll do some this weekend. stuff a little hot dog in the cheese. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh me oh me oh my, I think I just died and went to heaven. That looks sinfully delicious and I'm going to have to put that on the short to do list.
