The family was meeting up at my BIL to celebrate the 4th, so the wife and kids decided they wanted me to fry up some drums as it was bring your own meat day. So I made the traditional ones and the last 3 I made up the egg wash with my favorite rub then add some extra cayenne pepper to spice them up a little. I also whipped up a pineapple nut cake with whipped cream cheese frosting. As it turned out I guess the spicy drums were a hit so I will be making them this way next time.
