LMAO! dude beans, like ribs, are best when boiled, not done in the smoker. If you want smoke flavor add some liquid smoke. That's how ya do it!

Finally gave up on trying to balance beans on the grates and put em in a bowl. Bake beans take on a nice smoke flavor with a little stirring.
Problem with beans falling through the grate, solved.
