  • A fine oatmeal stout

    Likely too regional for most of you to get ahold of one, but New Holland’s Poet is a good example of the classic oatmeal... Mmm.

    Posed just behind #3 green at Crystal Mountain’s Betsie River course. Nice condo location- Lotta free balls!

    PS: Petoskey Brewery’s “Horny Monk” Belgian Abby Dubble ale style offering is damned good too...

          I'll look for it Rich...love a good oatmeal.

          If anyone out there can't find it check out Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout...it has wide distribution and is excellent as well.

                  and i'm fixing to take your gig you sent me to the resto for a beta test...we do the Yuengling gig there...report when i can...airplane gig is crazee broke fix me!

                    A little warm for oatmeal stout for me. My beers are still straw colored and see thru in this heat. Now long about winter I'll join you. Cheers!

                        You just need to have one about 6 AM. Oatmeal stout is breakfast food

                            Another good brew from NH Brewery is Dragons Milk. A bourbon aged stout. A big beer at 11%abv

                              Not a Stout...had Spoaty Oaty in Niagra Falls...dang good brew...Louie was on it as well...Spoaty Oaty is a American Pale Ale (APA) style beer brewed by Appalachian Mountain Brewery in Boone, NC...
