Ok, so last Friday I taught my first class in Electronic Access Control at Mercer County Community College in Trenton NJ. Saturday morning we jumped in the car and drove to Cundy's Harbor, Maine. My wife found this really beautiful cottage right on the water. So, we have been feasting on lobster rolls and fried clams and oysters for the last couple of days from some of the local joints. Most are closed until May, but a few stay open year round. Yesterday I drove down the street a half mile or so, and went to Hawkes Lobsters...yep closed for the season. I noticed a couple of guys working on the dock a couple of doors down, so I drove over and asked if he had some lobsters he could sell me. Shuah, how many you need? "Just a couple for my wife and I for dinner." Only two? He pulls a pot out of the water and digs around for a couple of minutes and comes up with two. "These ok?", he says. I say, "I'm depending on you pal, I wouldn't know a good one from a cow turd." Ok, so I drive away with 2 pound and a half hard shell lobsters for $9.50. That's for both, not each. I drive into town and pick up a couple of big baking potatoes and head for the cottage (it's literally about 30 feet from the water at high tide, and we watch lobster boats come and go from the sun room). The results are below. Mrs Snarlingiron and I both agree this is one of the best meals we have ever had. Drawn butter on the side of course.

Quite a magnificent dinner for two for ten bucks. At a nice restaurant in Dallas this would have been over $100.00. Thanks for looking.
