Great price on those hams. They are great eating.

Going to be watching this . I'm curious what process will make the hams into faux bacon. Does the process give the ham a bacon type taste or will it just be sliced double smoked ham.

The reason I'm asking is because I do double smoked hams quite often, slice them, vac-pac, freeze, to use for sandwiches and other uses later on.
Being able to give it a bacon type taste would be a great option to do sometimes.

Well..ham steaks are pretty common breakfast fare. I imagine this will be like them. Other than perhaps the thickness/size of slices?

I like to pan fry, or better yet grill, my thin sliced canadian bacon to serve with eggs...A lean alternative to bacon but not at all "hammy"...

Looking forward to learning a new trick here

I to want to learn a new taste trick.

I grill or fry double smoked ham slices or ham steaks regularly. It's very good, but it's not like bacon or CB. It tastes like smoked ham. IMHO

I'm thinking that by what he wrote that this is what he is talking about doing, grilling or frying double smoked ham slices, but I don't know.
