Screw the judges... I'd eat them and enjoy the hell out of them. Mad Hunky on frog legs? Damn... Didn't think of that one. I'm still trying to find gator to coat with some HAW.

I stopped competing. Period. Judging is all over the place, it's all subjective. What worked at one comp doesn't mean your gonna do the same at the next. And, it is WAY expensive, especially now that meat prices are thru the roof, let alone the cost of getting there. It just wasn't worth losing a night's sleep and emptying my bank account for a ton of work that didn't pay off.
Butt, I did meet some really nice folks oot there!
Drinks well with others

Hey Ryan---Don't work too hard on your competitive attitude.
One thing I learned in my 66 years is whether it be playing Baseball, Football, shooting Pool, playing cards, or even Arm Wrestling, is those who aren't bothered by losing tend to do it quite often!!!

And yeah with competitions you're always going to get the two types.
1) 'just glad to be here :-)'
2) 'Well yeah I'm glad to be here, but it's still a competition and I'm gonna win !'
Congratulations on the sausage orders though
Seems like a winner to me :-)Made In England - Fine Tuned By The USAJust call me 'One Grind'
