So I finally received my new SV machine - Thanks Bear and everyone else for pushing me over the ledge I have no idea what I'm doing with this thing but its pretty cool!
Started off with a simple steak & taters. Put temp at 190 degrees for about 2-1/2 hours for the taters (with about 1/2 stick of butter and Mad Hunky GPR) and then took them out then put the steak (more Mad Hunky) in at 130 degrees for a little over 1 hour. Then onto the pellet pooper with some shrimp (of course..more MH - Pizza Shake on this one! - Not sure if it was intended for seafood - but it was good!) I'm Hunkying everything!!
The steak turned out great - very evenly cooked and moist. And the taters were great - reminded a bit of the salt taters they cook out East with the butter completely soaked through the tater.
Now I need to upgrade to some sort of dedicated cooking pot /cooler for this thing
