    OK sooner or later someone is gonna say it...

    While your gas grill may be working for most things you cook it may not be the right tool for this job...

    A weber kettle with the rotiss attachment will do you a lot better than what you are thinking with your gasser...

      I guess I was a knob there sorry, I think you will have to notch the lid out.

        Rotisserie problem!!!

        You see in that picture link I sent. How the lids are notched out. If the burner gets hot enough you will not have to close the lid , there are many types of rotisserie meant for open fire pits that don't have lids

            This is true, charcoal would be better! If you are in a place were Webers are available.

              I have a weber kettle on my beach house but I use it rarely so I wanted to place a rotisserie in my gas grill.i know my grill is not suitable for this.thats why I asked all you experts

                No biggie man I was just on my rags, lol. Carry on. There is a propane section, it makes it easier for others with problem to find answers to things that have been asked or just researching cookers.
