Well, the $89 video inspection borescope from Woot.com came last week. I've been busy working overtime and just have not had much time to post anything about it. So today, I took it out of the box and played with it a little.
Came by default with language set to Chinese. Manual is somewhat lacking in the actual process to step through the menu but I figured it out. Unit is clearly not on par with a $2,500 Snap-on inspection scope, but for $89 it does the job. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came with a 4GB class 10 Samsung micro SD card already installed.
It has 6 very small white LED chips around the camera. I shoved in into a batch of un-shelled almonds for a test. Seems to work just fine.
