  • Pork Fried Rice(kinda)

Took some left over ribs pulled the meat off the bone, and stir fried it with some frozen carrots, peas, beans and some stir fry oil. So the "kinda" part comes in here...Instead of rice I 'riced' some cauliflower. I am trying to watch my carbs and if you saute it first the texture is the same as rice.

Might have to try that. What do you use to rice the cauliflower?

I've never had I 'riced' cauliflower, but that looks good. I'd give it a go.

Can buy it at Trader Joe's pre-riced, or just use a food processor. See you tube for examples.

I need to pick some up at Trader Joe's and mess around with it. My brother made pizza crust oot of it and cooked it on the Weber. Said it was pretty damn good. I have seen it "riced" in Albertsons, and its pretty spendy, butt good food is seldom inexpensive.

You can also use a cheese grater to do the cauliflower into rice....
That fried rice dish I'd take in a heart beat!

Thanks for the cauliflower idea. Rice, Irish potatoes and bread soon to be drastically cut back on my table. Smoking a butt while the sunshines tomorrow and Spanish rice made with pulled pork sounds good using cauliflower substitute.

for a healthy looking meal. I may have to try that. I lost weight watching my carbs and am now gaining it back by not watching my carbs LOL
