    not really related to this thread, but do you have info on other woods??? in particular black walnut and iron wood... have burnt both for heat in the shop and those 2 woods seem to be the longest lasting/most heat delivered woods that i have burnt. just wondering if you had there densities available???

    and dang, just dont seem right that apple is hanging up with the big boys in btu/cord???

      Just cleared my back pasture of at least a quarter acre of wild blackberries and while doing one of the burn piles I noticed a nice sweet aroma... other than the fact that the vines are covered in nasty stickers I shredded some to test out for smoking some salmon.

      Anyone know if there is any concern with using Blackberry vine the same way we use Grapevine?
