  • I've been thinking about a pellet pooper?

Does anyone know anything aboot these? http://grillagrills.com/grills/silve...-pellet-grill/ I've always used a stick burner of some sort. I'm looking to set it and forget it occasionally. Any input that you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Anywho, thanks for reading.

I dont know anything about those but you'll like a pellet pooper for the convenience. Some are built better than others but I know people who cook on all of them and put out some great food. I ended up with a yoder after a couple months of research.

          looks good - good reviews.
And cheaper than most I've seen.
Hell they're selling a basic ceramic cooker and a tiny pellet pooper for $100 more !
          Which is a bit weird.

Only thing I can see is that it's not a reverse flow, but the yoders aren't either.
Without using one you can only go by the reviews - and those are very good.

Not a huge cooking area - but not tiny either. Like the second rack, I'd never buy a bbq with just the single shelf - but that's just me.

Thanks for the input guys! The silverbac looks like a decent value, at it's price point. I was planning on keeping the big stick burner for the large parties and getting a pellet smoker for when I want to do a couple of racks of ribs or a few chicken halves. I like the reviews on it. I wish some one here had one to give their first hand review. If I buy it, I'll be that person. I'm going to wait until Monday afternoon, to see if they do either a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal. But, I think either way I will make the leap!

I can’t think of a better source for a review

I have no experience with pellet smokers, but I hear great things about them. The convenience is undeniable. Some claim to be all you ever need for all outdoor cooking. I would still want a good charcoal grill for hot and fast grilling. Especially for steaks!

My buddy has a GMG Jim Bowie model and loves it. I have helped him cook ribs and ABT's on it before, and its really easy to use and makes excellent food. Decent price also.

Sorry, know nothing aboot the Grilla grills though.

I am still using the originals. So yours should have a couple more good years in it.
