here in new mexico you can make them at home from scratch or buy them ready made. and there are many to choose from. and find the cheaper(price wise) are better.

some friends from arizona dropped by the other day and it was brought up about fresh tortillas, they told us that in az. they could buy fresh tortillas, flat and very thin and cook them, them selves. and were excellent. never had heard of them. nor have seen them. yesterday they stopped by on there way some place. and gave us two packages of 18 each. those things rock. turned on the stove and place the comal on it and with in seconds a hot fresh tortilla.
thought some may be interested.

I can vouch for the fresh superior taste over store bought. My wife has been making ours from scratch for 20+ years. There is no comparison. After you make your own, you'll never want store bought again.

My wife makes ours too. It's kinda new for her. She just learned a couple of years ago. And before you ask, no we don't call them Runza's.
I've been able to get fresh in every town I've ever lived in. Just look for a Mexican grocer. Sometimes you actually have to go into that part of town to find them.

Yep....nothing better. My brother live's in San Antonio, wife is mex/tex. Get plenty from him UPS. Hmmm, he's a little late with this shipment.
