In a small sauce pan, melt the butter, add the honey and microplane the nutmeg into the mix. Stir. When it is all nice a happy, remove from the heat.
I'd guess that the ratios here are aboot 3/4 butter, 1/4 honey, maybe even 1/2 and 1/2, with a sprinkling of nutmeg. For this batch, I didn't need much. Your mileage may vary. Go by taste... these three ingredients go very well with each other. For an added twist, add some cayenne. I didn't do that this thyme 'round because too many folks at the table don't like the heat. Pussies...
