    Easy recipe. Split the sprouts in half, place them on a cookie sheet. Coat them with melted butter. Place them in the oven at 350 for aboot 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the size of you balls... errr... sprouts. Bigger ones take a bit longer... Baste them with the nutmeg, butter and honey glaze toward the end of the cook.

    Nutmeg, butter and honey glaze... I didn't use any exact measurements butt here's me best guess:

    Ingredients:
    some nutmeg, freshly ground
    some honey, freshly poured
    some butter, freshly melted

    Destructions:
    In a small sauce pan, melt the butter, add the honey and microplane the nutmeg into the mix. Stir. When it is all nice a happy, remove from the heat.

    I'd guess that the ratios here are aboot 3/4 butter, 1/4 honey, maybe even 1/2 and 1/2, with a sprinkling of nutmeg. For this batch, I didn't need much. Your mileage may vary. Go by taste... these three ingredients go very well with each other. For an added twist, add some cayenne. I didn't do that this thyme 'round because too many folks at the table don't like the heat. Pussies...

      Great looking grub.
      I'm not sure what you look like in person HH, but on a website that brags, "No pics, didn't happen." Well I'm sorta glad you abstained from such pleasures of the flesh.

        Good looking grub! Nice sharp pics there too Phil. I have this personal thing that I don't like to eat the skin. Maybe just a mental thing, but I can't enjoy it if I'm looking at the skin... They look great plated up!!

          love the fish and sprouts - come sprout season I'm going to have to try that.
          never oven cooked sprouts.

          But they are one of my favourite veggies so defintely going to give that a go
