Nice. Didn't think of that. Here's some of me faves.

Run your dishwasher using a pack of Kool-Aid lemonade. Cleans any buildup. (Citric acid).

Wrap celery in foil instead of keeping it in a plastic bag, it will last longer.

To add a little steam to the oven when baking bread toss an ice cube or two on the bottom of the oven.

To clean your blender easily, just fill it half way with hot soapy water and turn it on for a few seconds.

              speaking of citric acid....

squirt a lemon across a Taiwanese or Tijuanan hooker & if she jumps- you don't want that.

dipping spicy pork sausage or deep fried bacon into jalapeno nacho cheese sauce is prolly not a good thing but thinning the blood w/ good high-proof booze cuts the stroke out factor.

replace your smoke alarm batteries at least once a year. i do mine on the spring forward day of daylight savings time

but how often do you inspect your home fire extinguishers? i do mine at the same time.

                            another one...
this never ending cold that's been going around all winter...??

                            it's a bacteria thing & now w/ spring pollen..

boil some salt water- same as curing meat- bacteria hates salt(old school remedy) & eat peppers-the capsaicin naturally boosts the immune system, also for the acid content- 1 tbsp lemon juice in salt water twice a day..

50 generations of Amish can't be wrong.

on that note as an ex fireman- dust & vaccuum you ceiling fans @ least once a month.

most home fires start from static electricity & dust buildup on ceiling fans.the motor-not the blades.
