Anyone out there ever tried smoking northern pike?? I've got about 20# of fillets and don't want to pickle all of them. If you have, I would appreciate the brine recipe and smoking time and temp.

save the tails for general eating, they are boneless. pickle only how much you want but make sure its the part with the y bones in it. they will dissolve in the process. ck out the other thread for some tips from others.Charbroil SFB
