Nice...
In the background...More cabinets...More smokers...
Those are Bigger and much more heavy duty .. this first one was my project and I went with cheap materials to see what happen .. I love it so much my next one will look like this kinda .. already have a nice 4x8 sheet of diamond plate to play with
so how have you done the firebox and heat conduits ?
I'll have to have a wander round my local second hand office furniture warehouse.
Cool
Notice the air flow vent on the side .. if I were to do it again I'd lower it down and tap holes in the bottom of the drawer for better air flow .. where it is now it just doesn't supply good air flow .. I did add two piece of small brick and a small grill grate to rise it up for some air under the fire .. the next drawer up I left intact however, I did drill holes with a step bit in the bottom of it for the heat to get through and that is where I keep a aluminum pan for liquid to keep the meat moist .. I'll take a few better pics when I fire her up this weekend
I was thinking blocking off the fire drawer and taking pipes up the outside (wrapping them in insulation - don't want to lose too much heat) with the main exhaust attaching just above the first food drawer. To create a reverse flow effect.
I don't do pretty, but I guess you could paint stuff if you were so inclined :-)
I'm a hammer and ducttape kind of maker :-)

Would that be practical - do you think ?
Sounds like a lot of work for something so small .. reverse smoking tho I would think you need more room cause the effect of how it works is that the exhaust system pulls the heat and somke toward it .. I think .. haha
