  • Good Day Today

So I sat the wife down and explained to her that the Jumbo Joe was the wrong grill and I was going to get another Weber. To my surprise, there was no arguing or gnashing of teeth.

So this afternoon I went to Lowe's and picked up the only Weber Original Premium Kettle they had left in the store. I brought it home and quickly assembled it. My Vortex fits in it perfectly, as does the StoK grate and the BBQ Dragon shelve.

Just for a quick check out of the new grill, I fired up a chimney full of RO lump and grilled some Ribeyes for the family. I am very pleased and now cannot wait to use my vortex to do some wings.

Actually, the wife is a great gal and doesn't balk very often, so I cannot complain when she does.
