We have sweet corn farmers in Buhler, KS that run stands from McPherson to Wichita and every else in between. Best sweet corn on the planet, at least around here. Very short season, so we eat a lot of it while we can. Nothing like sweet corn season, except for, fresh tomato season and cucumbers and okra and peppers of all varieties and baby limas and etc...., all of which we grow ourselves. We just pay for that stuff in different ways. Gardener smiley here if there was one.

Did you know that Mn produces more sweet corn than any other 2 states combined?
Minnesota also hold the Guinness world recored for most tastiest sweet corn varieties AND, the largest ears of corn measuring up to 17" long.
Minnesota was also chosen to supply all the sweet corn for the next worlds fair which will be held in Milan Italy in 2015.Comment
