Here's what I would do. I'd go buy it, haul it home when the wife is not around and hide it in a shed for about 2 months and then pull it out. When she asks when you got it just reply you've had it awhile.

Good idea.......The hog cooker i have retailed at 1200.....i got it from some yuppies from annapolis 8 years ago for 150 bucks....They used it twice and were moving....I had cash and a truck and that was that....
Make him a low ball offer. If the seller turns you down, check back with him a week or two later to see if he still has it; you may be the only person that showed interest in it and the seller may grab your offer. That is alot of smoker, especially with those three large racks!
