This kind of oppoprtunity is hard to find!

There have been some inquiries in regards to the judges associating with the comp teams at the "fun cook" sponsored by Lockhart's BBQ next month. Keeping in mind that the original intent was to have a pre-comp season "fun cook" utilizing KCBS procedures and times in regards to food turn-ins within a team friendly environment. This also includes judges. This event will allow for great networking between comp teams and judges that gives you the opportunity to pick the brains of each other prior to the regular season. You could even consider it somewhat of a hands-on class.
Because the "fun cook" now has a substantial amount of money in the prize pool, some of the "fun" must be removed and it would be greatly appreciated if teams and judges follow the following request:

"judges and teams are encouraged to network and share their thoughts about bbq but judges should not concentrate too long with any one team and should not frequent any team prep area after 10:00 am on Saturday until the judging process is completed."

Glad to hear you have decided not to go south Rich.
Brandy still has to be in Cincinnati that following week but we were running in to issues finding a sitter, so i could join her. So i will cook sat and she will leave on sun.

Well here we are one week from today. Glad it isn't this weekend. Cold and wet out this morning. I did do a TWC 10 day out look for Eagle MI this morning. At this point the weather is looking pretty good. Getting pretty excited. Anybody waiting needs to get thier paper work in. Thanks

Figured this question might have gotten lost in the other thread.

How about an Eagle Cook Live Stream??

              That would be cool!!
