          Phil he also kayak fishes. When are you going to drag yer sorry behind down here. We 3 could have one heck of a day fishing and cooking.

                I read in a post that " Heritage" food meant comfort food that person, (don't remember who). To me Heritage meals are the big ones, holidays, weddings, births, deaths. This is a meal that we would have had on a holiday or big event. There would have been cornbread, maybe not the cactus or cobs, but it would have been there. This really took me back to my food roots and my Mom and Pops cookin. I thank you for all the kind words......and the opportunity to go back in time. It was a special journey for me, Thank you all again.

                P.S. and from my Mom who is still suckin down Bread pudding!
